XBIZ Miami 2025

XBIZ Miami is the industry's premier summer conference — held every May in South Beach, with the XMA Creator Awards (the rebranded fan-voted awards) as the centerpiece. The 2025 edition ran May 19–22 in Miami Beach. I was there for the awards weekend.

Miami-XBIZ has a different rhythm than LA-XBIZ in January. LA is industry meetings and a glitzy Palladium ceremony. Miami is South Beach in late May — warmer, more casual, more poolside conversations than conference rooms. The Creator Awards ceremony is where fan-voted categories actually pay off in trophies, which is the part of the night that means the most to a lot of us. Industry-juried awards are nice. Fan-voted awards mean someone clicked vote for you.

What goes on across the weekend:

• Networking at South Beach venues — different scene than LA, different fan base, different energy.
• The Creator Awards ceremony, which has been the rebranded "fan vote" awards since the XMA reorg in 2024.
• Beach-side mixers, pool parties, and the kind of late-night Miami events you'd expect.

I went to Miami 2025 specifically for the Fan Awards weekend. The fan-vote categories matter to me — that's the part of the industry that's directly the audience speaking. If you voted, thank you.
